What can I study at ASGS?

You can study subjects in Business or Computing and earn credits equivalent to one or two years of study at different international universities. The ASGS advanced certificates provide one year worth of credits, and the advanced diplomas are equivalent to two years of study.

Who grants the ASGS qualification?

The qualification is granted by SQA (Scottish Qualification Authority: a href="https://www.sqa.org.uk">https://www.sqa.org.uk/)

Where can I complete my degree?

You can choose from a wide range of options of degrees awarded by our University partners.

How am I assessed during my studies?

Every subject has different assessments. Generally, you'll have multiple interesting assessment pieces (such as a case study, a quiz or an assignment) and a final examination You'll find out what your assignments are through your subject outlines, which will be given to you at the start of session.

Are there options for progression in technical courses such as B. Tech/BCA after Advanced Certificate/Diploma programs in Computing?

ASGS believes in employability linked knowledge enhancing through our Globally recognized Advanced Certificate and Diploma Programs in Business and Computing. Our Programmes are equivalent to the first / first 2 years of study of a bachelor's degree. The courses studied during the first and second year at ASGS are of international standards following the guidelines of SQA. ASGS offers qualifications accredited by The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) which serves as the apex body of educational standards in Scotland, overseeing the development, maintenance, and enhancement of a comprehensive framework of qualifications. Their responsibility extends to defining the requisite knowledge and skills for each qualification, ensuring candidates meet the prescribed level of competence. Through rigorous monitoring of teaching, learning, and assessment standards, ASGS collaborates with SQA to uphold consistency and accuracy across all qualifications. ASGS assessments are benchmarked against the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). These are evaluated continuously by SQA with respect to the difficulty, guaranteeing that the assessments appropriately challenge candidates while covering relevant content.

It is possible that the successful completion of these courses offers equivalent credits for progression into a B. Tech or BCA or BIT or a similar nomenclature. Presently, ASGS has been able to establish firm partnerships with Charles Sturt University & APIC in Australia, which offer a degree in computing with nomenclature as BIT. Our vision is to have partnerships with multiple Universities across the globe many of them will be offering B. Tech / BCA / B.Sc. degrees. What are the accommodation charges/living expenses in Australia?

The accommodation charges and living expenses in Australia can vary based on the city and type of accommodation you choose. On average, students can expect to spend approximately AUD 20,000 to AUD 25,000 per year. This estimate includes:

  • Accommodation: AUD 150 to AUD 400 per week (depending on whether you stay on-campus, in shared housing, or private rentals).
  • Living Expenses: AUD 200 to AUD 400 per week (covering food, utilities, transport, and personal expenses).

Yes, we provide Completion Certificates for students who successfully complete our Advanced Certificate and Diploma programmes. The certificate includes your name, the programme completed, the date of completion, and the official ASGS seal and signature.
